Holder Governance

The Crown Is Yours.

RoyalDecree is not run by a founder. It is run by its holders. Every quarter, the community votes on which vetted charity receives the accumulated pool. No override. No veto. No exceptions.

The Process

How Voting Works

01

Hold $DECREE

Your voting power is determined by your $DECREE balance at the time the vote snapshot is taken. The more you hold, the more weight your vote carries.

02

Nominations Open

Two weeks before each vote, the community can nominate child-welfare organisations. Each nominee is reviewed by the team against our ethical criteria before being added to the ballot.

03

Vote on Snapshot

Voting takes place on Snapshot — a gas-free, off-chain governance platform. You connect your wallet, see the candidates, and cast your vote. No transaction fees required.

04

Pool Is Distributed

The organisation with the most votes receives the full quarterly pool. The transfer is executed on-chain and publicly verifiable. A community report follows within 30 days.

Vetting Standards

What Makes a Charity Eligible

Focused on orphaned or vulnerable children

Publicly audited financials available

No political or religious affiliation that restricts beneficiaries

Verifiable direct-impact model (not primarily overhead)

Registered charity or equivalent legal status

Willing to acknowledge and report on the donation publicly

No history of financial misconduct or fraud

Operates in regions with demonstrable need

Governance Rules

The Rules That Protect Everyone

One vote per wallet

Each wallet address casts one weighted vote. Splitting holdings across wallets to game the system is technically possible but economically irrational — it doesn't increase your total voting power.

Snapshot is the only valid voting mechanism

Votes cast outside of the official Snapshot proposal are not counted. This prevents social-media campaigns from being mistaken for governance outcomes.

The founder cannot override a vote

The smart contract is designed so that the charity pool distribution follows the vote outcome. There is no admin key that can redirect funds to a different address.

Quorum requirement

A minimum participation threshold must be met for a vote to be valid. If quorum is not reached, the pool rolls over to the next quarter and the vote is re-run with the same candidates.

Transparency reports are mandatory

Within 30 days of each distribution, a public report is published showing the vote outcome, the transfer transaction, and any acknowledgement received from the receiving charity.

Vetted Pool

Current Charity Candidates

These organisations have passed our vetting criteria and are eligible for the next vote. New candidates can be nominated by the community.
